And I was singing along to “Strangers Like Me” (because it completely relates to how I feel about meeting Druze people BUT ANYWAY) and I started joking about how I should perform it for the ADS.
And then my daddy said I should start making videos and get myself out there.
I think this is the first time a family has actually encouraged me to put my music on the internet.
I’m excited. And scared. And I’m saying “and” a lot.
Celebrating my sister’s birthday at Taco Bell cause we’re classy like that.
Thank you guys for helping me out! I’ll be back tomorrow with more dresses- I’m seriously a mess haha. For those of you who have no idea what I’m talking about, here’s the gist:
During the semester, I am the biggest nerd/geek/someotherlabel, and I don’t generally go crazy planning my outfits. (Although I do love clothing, don’t get me wrong!)
But, during the summer, my culture comes in and intervenes. I’m going to a Druze(Arab) convention, which is a week long party. I’ll need around 5 dresses ranging from simple, cocktail to gala-appropiate gowns.
AND my uncle is getting married in Venezuela- where we will be going to ANOTHER wedding- and possibly a third! Seeing as how Venezuelans go ALL OUT with their looks, I have to step up my game.
I need YOU to help me out! I only have so much money that I can squeeze form my parents, so I want to make my purchases worthwhile. So don’t be afraid to be brutally honest- anything mean you say to my face, I’m sure someone is saying behind my back- and they’re probably thinking worse!
So please bare with me, and I promise to put up pictures of my final decisions. Thanks again!!!
